WEEK THREE: DAY 18
Tell What God Has Done
Today’s Bible Reading
2 Kings 20; Isaiah 38-40; Psalm 68; 1 Corinthians 11
Focus Scripture
“Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not.”
Isaiah 40:9
Prepare Your Heart
The good news was never meant to be kept quiet. Isaiah calls God’s people to lift their voices without fear and announce what God has done. We do not need to know the answer to every question before we can speak about Jesus. We can simply tell the truth about who He is, what He has done, and how His grace has changed us.
Pray
Thank God for the good news of Jesus and for the person who first shared it with you.
Ask God to forgive you for the times fear has kept you silent.
Pray for courage to speak about Jesus naturally and clearly when opportunities arise.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognize & take advantage of spiritual conversations as they arise.
Pray for people in our community who have never clearly heard or understood the gospel.
Ask God to make Steadfast a church where sharing our faith becomes a normal part of following Jesus.
Pray for your One More. Ask God to prepare them to hear the good news and prepare you to speak when the opportunity comes.
You do not need an impressive story. You only need to tell the truth about what Jesus has done.
One More
Think through how you would tell your One More what Jesus means to you in two or three sentences. Ask God for an opportunity to share it.
