Prepare Your Heart

Tomorrow is Next Steps Sunday. Paul reminds us that everyone has a part to play, but God alone gives the growth. That frees us from both passivity and pressure. We faithfully plant or water, trusting God with the results. Ask Him today where your next step might be.

Pray

Thank God that the growth of His church ultimately depends on Him.
Ask Him whether there is a next step of obedience you have been delaying.
Pray for people considering joining a Group. Ask God to lead them toward meaningful relationships where they can grow.
Pray for those considering a Serve Team. Ask God to help them see how He can use their gifts for the good of others.
Pray for children, students, adults, and families exploring our Midweek ministries.
Pray for those preparing for baptism and anyone who may decide tomorrow that baptism is their next step.
Pray for our ministry leaders and volunteers as they help people connect tomorrow.
Pray for your One More. Ask God to show you the part He has given you to play in their life.

You do not have to do everything. You do need to be faithful with what God has put in front of you.
