Prepare Your Heart

The church is ultimately a community built around what God has done. We tell stories of His faithfulness, celebrate changed lives, and remind one another that His grace is still at work. As we approach Next Steps Sunday, we have much to thank God for and much more to ask Him to do.

Pray

• Thank God for specific ways you have seen Him work in your own life.

• Thank Him for changed lives, restored relationships, answered prayers, salvations, and baptisms you have witnessed at Steadfast.

• Pray for every person preparing to be baptized this Sunday. Ask God to strengthen their faith and use their testimony to encourage others.

• Pray for anyone who knows they need to be baptized but has hesitated to take that step.

• Pray for people who are new to Steadfast and looking for a place to belong.

• Ask God to use Next Steps Sunday to move people toward Groups, Serve Teams, Midweek ministries, and baptism.

• Pray for your One More. Ask God to let them see evidence of His grace through the lives of His people.

Take a moment simply to remember: What have you seen God do? Thank Him for it.

Tell someone about something God has done in your life. It does not need to be dramatic. Just give God credit for His grace to you.
