WEEK TWO: DAY 10
A Holy People
Today’s Bible Reading
Isaiah 30-32; 1 Corinthians 5
Focus Scripture
“Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.”
1 Corinthians 5:7
Prepare Your Heart
Because Christ has given Himself for us, He calls us to become increasingly like Him. A healthy church is a place where grace and truth belong together, where we confess sin, receive forgiveness, and help one another walk in obedience.
Pray
Thank Jesus for becoming our Passover Lamb and bearing the judgment our sin deserved.
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any sin you have excused, hidden, or allowed to become comfortable.
Pray that Steadfast would be a church characterized by both deep grace and genuine holiness.
Pray for friendships where believers can speak truth, confess sin, and encourage one another toward Christ.
Ask God to give our elders, deacons, staff, and leaders wisdom to lead with conviction, humility, and compassion.
Pray for your One More. Ask God to help them see that the gospel offers more than behavior modification. Jesus offers forgiveness and new life.
Do not rush past confession. Bring what the Lord reveals into the light.
One More
Look for an opportunity to encourage another believer in their walk with Jesus. Sometimes loving someone well means helping them keep moving toward Christ.
