Spiritual gifts are ways the Holy Spirit equips believers to serve others and build up the church. This inventory is designed to help you recognize some of the ways God may be working through you and identify practical opportunities to put those gifts to work.

This is not a test you pass or fail, and your results are not a final declaration about your gifting. Think of them as a starting point for prayer, service, conversation, and further discernment.

The inventory contains 52 statements covering 13 gift areas. It should take 8-10 minutes to complete.

What Are Spiritual Gifts?

A spiritual gift is a Spirit-enabled capacity given to a believer for the good of others and the building up of Christ's church.

“To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” — 1 Peter 4:10

Spiritual gifts are related to, but distinct from, natural abilities, personality, learned skills, and Christian maturity. A lower score does not mean an area is “not your responsibility.”
