Director of Worship & Production
Steadfast Church exists to proclaim the good news of Jesus, for the joy of all people, to the ends of the earth. Steadfast was planted in 2007 and is affiliated with Acts 29 and SBC. We see around 450 on Sundays, with a team of roughly 40 volunteers across worship & production.
SUMMARY
The Director of Worship & Production crafts a worship gathering that is both theologically rich and emotionally engaging. They organize every Sunday detail—musicians, liturgy, song lists, and media—and oversee all audio/visual production (without having to lead from the stage each week). They also guide creative projects such as original songs, storytelling, videos, and podcasts that advance Steadfast’s mission.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Shepherding:
Model personal discipleship; pray for and pastor volunteers.
Champion Steadfast’s vision/mission in staff meetings and planning sessions.
Worship Ministry
Prayerfully develop and implement a vision & philosophy for worship ministry consistent with the DNA of Steadfast Church – one rich with biblical accuracy, musical excellence, and cultural relevance
Plan liturgy, songs, and themes with the Lead Pastor.
Oversee recruitment & development & scheduling of all serve teams within worship/production ministries
Foster healthy communication and community among worship & production teams
Direct weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship gatherings
Production & Technology
Oversee direction of FOH, broadcast mix, lighting, slides, and livestream each Sunday.
Maintain and upgrade AVL gear; oversee the ministry budget.
Train tech volunteers and stay current on production trends.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative
Help foster a culture of creative expression via songwriting & arranging
Provide creative support for sermon series and special events.
Guide songwriting, video, podcasting, and testimony projects.
Other:
Maintain licensing for copyrighted worship elements (music, video, streaming, etc.)
Music/tech coordination for special services and events for church or preschool
Build contacts and relationships with local music ministry leaders regionally and within networks
Miscellaneous responsibilities may be added in specific seasons at the discretion of the Lead Pastor and according to the gifts of the leader.
NICE-TO-HAVE
Ableton or multitracks experience
Video editing and/or graphic design skills
Stage design skills

High Capacity Operator – Can spin several plates simultaneously
Proven team-builder and project manager; calm under pressure
Working knowledge of Planning Center, ProPresenter, digital consoles, and streaming platforms.
