DAY 15 | AUGUST 25

WEEK 3: LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR

You shall love your neighbor as yourself. - Mark 12:31

Discipleship that doesn’t move outward is incomplete. Jesus calls us to love God and to love people—and these 21 days must overflow into mission. This final week shifts our focus beyond ourselves and our church walls to the world around us. We are called to be salt and light, to show compassion to the hurting, and to boldly share the gospel with those who don’t yet know Christ. Every one of us has a “One More”—someone in our lives who is far from God but close to us. We are praying for them by name, asking God to open their hearts, and seeking opportunities to be a faithful witness of grace and truth.

DAY 15 — AUGUST 25

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. - James 1:27

Reflection:
God’s heart beats for the broken and overlooked. True faith shows up in compassion. We cannot claim to know God if we remain unmoved by suffering.

Prayer Prompt:
Lord, open my eyes to the hurting around me. Let my faith express itself in mercy and compassion.

Your One More:
Pray that your One More would experience the kindness of God through acts of mercy.

“If God is love, then love must be active.” — D.L. Moody
