SEEK FIRST - 21 DAYS OF PRAYER

DEAR STEADFAST FAMILY,

We are stepping into a focused 21-day season of prayer—an opportunity to realign our hearts with the heart of God and seek Him above all else. Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33 call us to a simple but profound priority: Seek first the Kingdom.

Over these 21 days, you are invited into a rhythm of Scripture, prayer, and surrender. Each day will guide you through a short reflection, a prayer prompt, and a moment to intercede for your “One More”—someone in your life who has not yet trusted in Christ.

Our prayer is that this time becomes a spiritual awakening—not just personally, but across our church. That God would stir revival in our hearts, holiness in our lives, and mission in our steps.

WHAT ABOUT FASTING?

Fasting is not required, but it is encouraged. Fasting is a way to say with your whole body: “God, I need you more than I need food, comfort, or control.” Whether it’s skipping a meal, abstaining from social media, or giving up certain habits—fasting helps us make space for deeper dependence on Christ.

Some options to consider:

Complete Fast: No food, only water or juice (consult a doctor first).

Selective Fast: Cut out specific foods like sugar, meat, or caffeine.

Partial Fast: Skip a meal (like breakfast or lunch) each day.

Soul Fast: Step away from media or activities that distract your focus.

Let your fast serve as a reminder of your hunger for God and His purposes.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

Each day includes:

Scripture – A verse or short passage to anchor your heart.

Reflection – A brief call to consider what God is saying.

Prayer Prompt – A starting point for your conversation with God.

Your One More – A daily nudge to pray for someone far from Christ.

Quote – Words from church history to inspire your passion.

You don’t need a perfect plan—just a willing heart. Grab a journal, find a quiet space, and join us in seeking Him together.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
